What is an Apostille?

What is Apostille Attestation?

Apostille attestation is a streamlined document legalization process for countries that are part of the Hague Convention. It involves verifying a document's authenticity (attestation) followed by an apostille - a special certificate confirming the attestation. This allows the document to be used in other member countries without further legalization.

When is an apostille needed?

  • Apostille is typically required when an official document that is issued in one country needs to be used in another country for various personal and professional reasons.
